Courtney is the Chief Executive Officer and Principal Consultant of Human Resource Technologies Ltd. This is where he manages an impressive portfolio of large private and public sector clients. Prior to this, he held numerous strategic HR positions in the corporate sector. Courtney now shares his contemporary HR/IR perspective on issues related to our workplace culture and society, in his published book, opinion, articles, lectures, training and presentations.
In 2022, he received the Glen Willson Award for Industrial Relations Excellence from HRMATT. Outside of work, he served as the President of the National Basketball Federation of Trinidad and Tobago from 2010 for roughly 3 years. From June 2020, for about 15 months, he served as a member of the Police Service Commission. Courtney is currently involved in his family’s Merikin heritage as the Chairman of the Merikin Commission and The Mc Nish Trust. He is also a Director of Boards, Analytical Testing & Services Ltd, and Marine Consultants (Trinidad) Limited.
