Dr. Rollin Bertrand is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with over 30 years of experience in regional manufacturing and 16 years as CEO of a Public Company listed on the Caribbean Stock Exchanges.
During his tenure as Group CEO at Trinidad Cement Limited, he spearheaded the expansion of the Group by enabling the acquisition of Caribbean Cement Company in Jamaica and the construction of a terminal in Guyana in 2006 positioning the TCL Group as the premier supplier of cement to CARICOM with plants in Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados, and Guyana.
Dr. Bertrand graduated from the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology in 1979 and completed his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in 1984. In 1993 he graduated from the UWI Institute of Business at St. Augustine with an Executive Masters in Business Administration and in 2014 completed a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix with the dissertation topic, “Empowering Entrepreneurial Leaders in the Anglophone Caribbean”.
Dr. Bertrand has served on the Board of Directors of many organizations including Chairman of the Water and Sewerage Authority, Chairman of the Caribbean Court of Justice Trust Fund and Director of the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange.
